How to Choose the Right Jumpsuit Size for Your Child
How to Choose the Right Size of a ZZZforKIDS by Zezuzulla Jumpsuit?
Our adjustable jumpsuits are designed for children from birth (0 months) to approximately 3–4 years of age. Sizing is based on height ranges rather than fixed standard sizes.
How do you choose the right size?
- Choose based on height, not age: Age is only a guideline. Before purchasing, measure your child’s height from the top of their head to their feet.
How to measure your child?
Measure a newborn lying down, from the top of their head to their heels.
Measure an older child standing up, from the top of their head to their heels.
- Don’t buy a size that’s too big for your child to grow into: Each jumpsuit already has built-in extra length in the ribbed cuffs (approx. 5–10 cm of adjustment). Choosing a size larger than recommended will make the jumpsuit too loose.
For example, if you buy size 68 and your child is 68 cm tall, the jumpsuit will still have plenty of extra length in the folded cuffs.
- If your child is between sizes: If your child’s height falls between two sizes (e.g. they are 83 cm tall), choose the larger size (86) to ensure they can wear the jumpsuit for longer.
You can also check the jumpsuit’s length and width in the size chart on the product page.
- What size should you choose for a newborn’s first jumpsuit? Our sizing runs roomy, so we recommend size 62 for your baby’s first jumpsuit. It will have plenty of room to grow!
No baby has ever been born who couldn’t fit into our size 62 straight after birth. 🙂
Please note: After purchasing, we always recommend trying the jumpsuit on your child, even if it looks very big at first. Dress your child, roll up the cuffs, and only then decide whether it’s the right size.
Looks can be deceiving! You’ll often find that your child feels perfectly comfortable in our relaxed-fit jumpsuits. And, of course, looks absolutely adorable in them, too. 😊
